One of the items I wanted to speak about in the speech about writing a book was the strange feeling that this was somehow fate. As eight years elapsed between the time the book there were many strange coincidences that happened along the way. One of them concerned David Grafman, the son of Shelley Grafman who ran KSHE from 1968-1984. When I first met David back in 2003, we talked for several hours. Upon my drive home on Highway 70, I spotted a vintage camaro with a 1970s era Sweetmeat Bumper sticker. It had been years since I had seen one of those original stickers on a car and I have yet to see a car sporting one since.
